UL Monroe Infielder Kade Dupont: ABCA All-South Second Team Honoree with Elite Batting and Intensity
Kade Dupont, UL Monroe’s senior third baseman, delivered a standout 2026 season with a .365 batting average, 65 hits, 15 doubles, and 34 RBIs, earning ABCA/Rawlings All-South Region Second Team honors[1][6]. Beyond stats, Dupont differentiates himself with relentless intensity, a right-handed hit/throw profile, and a 5’9” frame that fuels quick infield reactions[2]. Though he briefly entered the transfer portal after his sophomore year (claiming 6’6”, 230 lbs—likely a misstatement, as official records list him at 5’9”, 180 lbs)[4][3], he returned to UL Monroe and transformed into a data-driven leader with a .480 OBP and .500 SLG[2]. His personality is marked by grit, adaptability, and a team-first mindset, making him a high-fit infielder for any program seeking consistency, defensive reliability, and clutch hitting. You should care because Dupont isn’t just a stat line—he’s a resilient, battle-tested player who elevates every game with intensity and precision.
