Southern Illinois CB C.J. Jennings brings size, speed and proven experience
C.J. Jennings is a veteran cornerback for Southern Illinois whose profile stands out more for traits than box-score volume: 247 Sports lists him at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds with strong marks for tackling, speed and length, and Southern Illinois notes he missed time in 2018 due to injury after playing the first five games. That makes him a useful fit for a team wanting a disciplined, athletic defensive back with baseline ball skills and toughness, though the public data here is thin on recent on-field production.
