Jason Battle brings two-way grit and slasher value to Cornell
In the 2025-26 season, Jason Battle logged 59 points, 31 rebounds, 9 assists, 8 steals, and 2 blocks in 227 minutes for Cornell, a stat line that hints at a compact, all-around role player rather than a pure scorer. His biggest differentiator is versatility: listed as a guard/forward, he can attack the rim, contribute on the glass, and give Cornell energy on both ends. A longstanding Cornell bio described him as a slasher who gets into the lane and finishes, which still fits the profile of a tough, playable fit for a team wanting edge and activity over flash.
