A steady UMass back with proven production and pass-game utility
In the 2024 season, J.T. Blyden logged 116 rushing yards on 38 carries in five games for UMass, plus eight catches for 40 receiving yards, and he was third on the team in rushing despite missing the final seven games[2][3]. At 6-foot, 196 pounds, he profiles as a compact, versatile back who can contribute both as a runner and receiver[2]. The biggest selling point is reliability: he has shown he can produce in limited action and give an offense a functional, low-drama option out of the backfield[2][3].
