Young Ohio tight end with size upside, but still a blank slate
Lowery is a developmental Ohio tight end whose appeal is his frame and room to grow: listed at 6'3" and 238 pounds on the 2026 roster after arriving at 204 pounds as a freshman, he has added notable mass and remains an active part of the program’s long-term depth chart.[6][1] His on-field résumé is still extremely light—Ohio’s roster page says he appeared in one game in 2024 and the stat trackers show no meaningful receiving production—so he is more of a projection than a proven weapon right now.[6][4][5] If you want an in-line TE with size, upside, and patience for development, he’s a monitor, not a plug-and-play starter.[6][7]
