Iowa Hawkeyes LB Prospect with Elite High School Pedigree
Jacob Sobotka, a versatile linebacker from Mount Ayr High School (Class of 2014), earned 2023 South Central Iowa Male Athlete of the Year honors as a three-sport record-setter, showcasing elite football skills as MLB/QB/RB with a reported 4.7-second 40-yard dash and 4.6 shuttle time that caught camp coaches' eyes. Now linked to Iowa Hawkeyes, his multi-dimensional athleticism, speed, and proven intensity make him a differentiator for defenses needing instinctive, high-motor tacklers—perfect fit for teams valuing raw talent over flash.
