C.J. Cook brings steady middle-linebacker production for Indiana State
Cook’s value is built on dependable run support and consistency: in the 2024 season, he played in all 11 games, made seven starts at middle linebacker, and finished with 37 tackles, including 15 solo stops. That profile suggests a player who understands the defense, can handle a starting role, and gives a team a reliable interior presence rather than flashy splash-play numbers. For a roster looking for toughness, alignment discipline, and a steady tackler in the middle, Cook is the kind of linebacker who can fit and raise the floor.
