Reno Spagnoli brings live arm talent and two-way utility value to Hofstra
Spagnoli entered Hofstra with a strong regional résumé, including a top-30 New Jersey ranking and recognition as a preseason All-American region pick, and his recruiting track record points to real arm talent rather than a pure depth-piece profile. The differentiator is upside: reports showed fastball growth from the mid-80s to the low-90s in high school, which suggests projection and development potential, though his early college numbers have been rough and he’s still establishing consistency at the Division I level.
