Alex Brown brings veteran depth and academic steadiness to Vanderbilt's linebacker room
In the 2023 season, Vanderbilt linebacker Alex Brown played in four games and posted a career-best four tackles against Alabama A&M, but his bigger value is the reliable, older-prospect profile: a 6-foot-2, 257-pound graduate with SEC experience, academic honors, and a history of contributing in a limited but steady role[1][3]. He looks like a fit for a team that wants disciplined, low-drama depth and special-teams toughness more than flashy production; the stat line is modest, but the maturity and consistency are the selling points[1][2].
