Leah Nelson brings Mercer a flexible frontcourt piece with guard skills
Leah Nelson is listed as a Mercer women’s basketball forward from Blue Ridge, Georgia, and the clearest selling point is versatility: scouting notes describe her as a guard-forward type who can fit multiple roles, which is exactly the kind of connector piece coaches love. Her frame and skill blend suggest lineup flexibility more than empty stat-padding, making her a strong fit for teams that value switchability, spacing, and matchup disruption. Publicly available stat detail is limited, so the appeal here is projection plus fit rather than a heavy production resume.
