Gavin Maines is a projectable lefty with real upside for Western Carolina
Maines is a left-handed pitching prospect from the Class of 2024 whose current profile suggests a developmental arm with upside rather than a fully defined stat-line star. Perfect Game lists him in its player database, but the available public results here do not include detailed college performance metrics, so the best read is that his value will hinge on pitchability, arm-side movement, and how quickly he translates his stuff into game results. He looks like a fit for a team that wants a lefty with potential to grow into a role, especially if development and command are priorities.
