Katerina Garcia brings point-guard savvy and shot-making touch to SIU
In the 2025-26 season, Katerina Garcia is listed as a Southern Illinois guard and has produced 7.0 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 36.8% from the field. Her calling card is playmaking with composure: SIU’s older scouting notes praised her court vision, passing, and range as a strong outside shooter, and she once posted 12 assists in a game, tying a top mark in program history. For a team needing a steady, pass-first guard who can also stretch the floor, she’s a smart fit.
