Navy’s experienced, hard-nosed linebacker with a special-teams edge
Bankston profiles as a dependable Navy linebacker with real toughness, position flexibility, and special-teams value; Navy’s roster notes describe him as an attitude player who has fought for snaps in a crowded linebacker room and consistently brought value on coverage units. In earlier Navy coverage, he was viewed as a reserve/rotation piece at raider who had already appeared in 22 games, which signals experience even without eye-popping box-score production. If your team wants a physical, assignment-sound defender who plays with urgency and won’t blink in the kicking game, he fits the bill.
