Riley Marcotte has become a rotation stabilizer for New Orleans
In the 2026 season, left-hander Riley Marcotte gave the Privateers a dependable midweek/weekend arm, logging 62.0 innings with 42 strikeouts and a 4.94 ERA while working deeper into games as a junior. He’s not just a stats line: Marcotte has shown punch-out ability, competed through traffic, and delivered multiple sturdy outings, including seven innings without a walk in a May win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and a six-plus-inning, no-walk effort at HCU. He looks like a fit for teams that value strike-throwing, toughness, and a starter who can steady the ship.
