Zaire Hicks brings two-way grit and sneaky playmaking to Charleston Southern
In the 2022-23 season, Zaire Hicks showed up as a disruptive, high-motor guard who led Charleston Southern with 49 steals, appeared in all 30 games, and made 25 starts while also flashing passing feel with a 13-point, 7-assist game against Winthrop[2][14][4]. She fits best as a tough, defense-first guard who can tilt a game with energy, pressure, and rebounding from the perimeter, though the available stat trail suggests her value is less about volume scoring and more about winning possessions and setting the edge for the Bucs[11][13][15].
