young Chattanooga edge with room to pop
Houston is a 6-foot-1, 213-pound sophomore DE for Chattanooga who arrived from Benedict in summer 2026 and, as of early September, has not yet seen game action for the Mocs[6][13]. What makes him interesting is the upside profile: he’s a fresh transfer in a defensive-line room the staff says is being counted on for experience, and his lighter frame suggests a speed-based edge role rather than a pure power set[6][8]. If you want a developmental pass-rusher with athletic projection and a clean runway to earn snaps, Houston is a name to watch.
