Holy Cross lefty-killer? Colin Dowdle keeps grinding in the Crusaders’ bullpen
In the 2026 season, Holy Cross right-hander Colin Dowdle has worked mostly as a relief arm, posting a 7.71 ERA over 11.2 innings with 6 strikeouts and 11 walks, a line that says the command still has to catch up to the arm talent.[2][3] What makes him interesting is the frame and starter’s build at 6-foot-2, 198 pounds, plus the fact that he’s already carved out real innings in a tough college staff environment.[1][4] If your team values upside, durability, and a pitcher who can be developed rather than just “plugged in,” Dowdle is a name worth monitoring.
