experienced Texas Southern target with solid slot-to-stretch utility
Donnie Davison brings veteran receiver experience to Texas Southern, listed at 5-foot-10 and 180-192 pounds, with a compact frame that usually plays well in traffic and on underneath routes. Publicly available info is limited, but one source credits him with 21 catches for 256 yards and a touchdown, suggesting a reliable, possession-style role rather than a pure splash-play profile. The appeal is his seasoned feel and fit for a team needing dependable hands, spacing, and route discipline; the downside is that he does not appear to be a high-visibility, heavily tracked breakout star.
