Davidson’s steady kicking option with kickoff range and situational value
In his 2011 season at Davidson, Bo Swanson showed useful specialist traits: he appeared in the final seven games, averaged 55.2 yards on 38 kickoff attempts, delivered three touchbacks, and went 1-for-1 on PATs. That profile says “reliable depth piece” more than headline star, but that can be exactly what a staff wants from a kicker—leg strength, consistency, and the ability to help tilt field position. If you need a dependable all-around specialist who can handle kickoffs and extra points without making waves, Swanson fits the mold.
