Paige Shumway brings pop, versatility, and a gritty comeback story to Utah Valley
Paige Shumway enters Utah Valley with a proven offensive track record and a real edge: in the 2023 season at the JUCO level, she hit .419 with 9 homers, 41 RBIs, 6 triples, and 18 doubles in 54 games, then showed power again in 2024 before an injury ended that season early. She’s a compact 5'2" infielder who bats left-handed and profiles as a sparkplug with extra-base hit upside, plus the resilience that coaches love. In 2026, she’s on the Wolverines’ roster and worth watching as an impact bat with toughness and bounce-back juice.
