young, versatile defensive back with upside to watch
Durell Preston is a Youngstown State cornerback prospect to watch for his athletic upside and positional flexibility, though public game-impact data is limited right now. Recruiting databases list him as a 5-foot-10, 160-pound defensive back from St. Augustine, and his background suggests a lean, quick-twitch profile that can fit a coverage-heavy secondary. Because there’s little reliable published production attached to his Youngstown State role yet, the key question is development: if his technique and physicality catch up to his speed, he could be a useful depth piece or special-teams fit.
