Hampton Pirates Guard with Elite Rebounding and MEAC Top-4 Presence
Barbara Davis, a guard for the Hampton Pirates, stands out as a differentiator with her elite rebounding ability—averaging 8.3 rebounds per game (second on her team, fourth in the MEAC) and grabbing 11 boards in a single loss at UC Santa Barbara. Though listed as a guard, her frontcourt intensity and physicality make her a rare hybrid who dominates the paint with relentless energy. Her personality traits include fierce competitiveness and a team-first mindset, evident in her key role during 19 of 25 starts in prior seasons. While no recent injury history is reported, her intensity level is consistently high, making her a perfect fit for teams needing a guard who can control the glass and elevate defensive presence. In the 2014-15 season, she proved her value as a top MEAC rebounder, and her psychological background adds strategic depth to her on-court decisions.
