SEMO’s Wilbert Phillips is a road-grading right tackle with award-winning punch
In the 2025 season, Wilbert Phillips started 10 of 12 games at right tackle for Southeast Missouri State and won the team’s Goddard Award as its top offensive lineman[1]. At 6-foot-3 and 328 pounds, he brings real mass, experience from Missouri Southern, and evidence of consistency in a line that helped SEMO lead the OVC in passing offense (263.3 ypg) and rank second in red-zone efficiency (29-of-31, 93.5%)[1]. He looks like a sturdy, assignment-sound fit for a team that values veteran power, pass protection, and nastiness in the trenches[1].
