UNI OL Mark Blessington: Massive, veteran trench piece with NFL-sized frame
Mark Blessington is a big, experienced interior line presence for UNI, listed at 6-foot-5 and 326 pounds in the 2012 season and 331 pounds in the 2011 season, which points to true power-player traits in the trenches. The differentiator is his size and veteran development out of the Panthers’ program, making him the kind of OL who can anchor against bull rushes and help set a physical tone. For a team needing a rugged, high-mass blocker, he looks like a fit—assuming durability and mobility match the frame.
