a bullpen arm with room to climb
In the 2025 season, Southern Miss right-hander Micah Wascom worked six relief appearances and posted a 7.94 ERA over 5 2/3 innings, with five strikeouts and five walks, but he also logged multiple scoreless outings against quality opponents like Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, and UNCW. His profile is more about upside than raw 2025 production: a 6-foot, 202-pound sophomore who has already shown he can miss bats in short bursts and handle pressure spots, while continuing to develop command and consistency. He looks like a fit for teams valuing arm strength, competitiveness, and bullpen depth.
