Brock Blanton is EKU’s low-drama, high-trust righty with late-season momentum
In the 2026 season, Brock Blanton has been a steady bullpen arm for Eastern Kentucky, allowing just 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 6 over 3 2/3 scoreless innings across his last four appearances, a nice little “don’t-blink” stretch for a right-hander who keeps the ball in the zone.[3] His 2026 line shows 15.1 innings with a 4.70 ERA and 13 strikeouts,[4] and his 2023 work included 26 appearances with a 4.55 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 27.2 innings, showing real strike-throwing reliability.[2] At 6-foot-4 and listed as a redshirt senior,[3] he profiles as a durable, experienced fit for teams wanting a composed, innings-absorbing arm rather than a flamethrower headline.
