North Carolina A&T’s smooth-shooting guard with real bucket-getter pedigree
In the 2007-08 season, Steven Rush was a volume scorer for North Carolina A&T, averaging 14.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 32.6% from three and 85.1% at the line; the year before, he posted 16.8 points per game and hit 3.7 threes a night at 40.1% from deep.[2][3] The key reason to care: he was more than a shooter—A&T’s own Hall of Fame profile calls him one of the best shooters in school history, a leader who delivered in big moments, including 40 points in a win over DePaul, and who paired scoring punch with academic/locker-room credibility.[1]
