steady veteran DB with ball skills and Terps experience
A senior defensive back for Maryland in the 2026 roster, Isaac Goins brings veteran size, experience, and proven playmaking—he’s 5-11, 190, and already has a career interception on his résumé. He fits as a dependable depth-and-competition piece in the secondary: not the loudest name, but the kind of mature defender who can help stabilize a room, stay assignment-sound, and capitalize when quarterbacks get careless. The differentiator is his continuity and instinctive feel, which matter when you want a DB who won’t blink under pressure.
