Nevada LB Kevin Grimes: Emerging Tackling Force with Untapped Potential
Nevada Wolf Pack linebacker Kevin Grimes stands out as a high-motor defender whose relentless pursuit and sideline-to-sideline speed make him a disruptive presence, averaging 7.2 tackles per game in the 2025 season while leading the team with 3 forced fumbles—stats that highlight his ball-hawking instincts over raw size (6'1", 225 lbs). Scouts praise his football IQ and leadership on a rebuilding defense, with no major injury history, positioning him as an ideal Day 3 NFL draft fit for teams needing gritty, scheme-versatile LBs who elevate intensity without drama.
