Andrew Sager gives Sacred Heart a strike-throwing righty with room to grow
Sager’s 2026 debut season at Sacred Heart showed a usable foundation: he made nine appearances, posted a 4.76 ERA, struck out nine batters in 11.1 innings, and earned his first collegiate win, which suggests a reliever/pitcher who can handle pressure moments and contribute in short bursts.[1] At 6-foot-0 and 185 pounds, with a right-right profile, he looks like a compact arm who can develop into a dependable depth piece if his command and consistency take the next step.[1]
