SDSU’s culture-builder turned head coach
Dan Jackson isn’t a current player, but a former South Dakota State linebacker who became the Jackrabbits’ head coach after a long climb through the program. His differentiator is fit: he knows the SDSU standard from the inside, has coached elite FCS defenses, and has a reputation for teaching, recruiting, and detail-heavy leadership. If you want a coach/leader with deep program DNA, toughness, and continuity, he’s a strong match; if you’re looking for a flashy résumé, this is more blue-collar than billboard.
