Delaware’s steady, local-hero quarterback with real experience
In the 2021 season, Zach Gwynn showed he could operate Delaware’s offense efficiently, including a 17-of-21, 157-yard, 2-touchdown performance against William & Mary, and his career line through the latest available stats shows 1,411 passing yards with 8 passing touchdowns. His calling card is poise and reliability more than flash: a Delaware native, he has shown he can step in and manage the game, and Delaware staff praised how well he handled backup duty in camp. If your team wants a composed, experienced quarterback who understands the program and won’t melt under the lights, Gwynn is worth a serious look.
