Creighton Guard with Steady Scoring and Defensive Intensity
In the 2025-26 season, Lauren Works averaged 6.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game for the Creighton Bluejays, showcasing a differentiator in her relentless defensive intensity and clutch rebounding despite modest scoring totals. Her 37.4% field goal percentage reflects a learning curve in shot selection, but her personality trait of unwavering resilience—evident in her fifth-year commitment and consistent on-court presence—makes her a high-fit guard for teams needing grit over flash. With no reported injury history and a Lincoln, NE roots that fuel her local pride, Works excels in transition defense and secondary ball-handling, offering value beyond stats through her team-first mentality and ability to elevate teammates under pressure.
