Montana State Reserve WR with Untapped All-State Pedigree
Hunter Mahlum, a wide receiver for the Montana State Bobcats, entered the 2024 season as a reserve contributor behind a stacked receiver corps, building on his redshirt 2014 year and high school All-State honors from Kansas where he ranked top-62 statewide in key stats. His differentiator is raw athleticism and local grit—think reliable hands and explosive speed in a depth role—making him a low-risk, high-upside add for teams needing developmental WR depth without splashy stats. Perfect fit for FCS or G5 programs valuing FCS-proven intensity over volume production.
