Jamal Johnson brings steady point-guard instincts and program-history cred to Cal Poly
Jamal Johnson is a classic glue guy at guard: in his Cal Poly career, he played 128 games, handed out 303 assists, and finished seventh in program history in assists, which tells you he could run a team and stay on the floor. He wasn’t a volume scorer, but he offered reliable decision-making, toughness, and experience in pressure moments, including Cal Poly’s 2014 Big West title run and NCAA Tournament appearance. If you want a low-drama floor general who understands the college game and won’t waste possessions, he fits the bill.
