Luke Hayes brings compact, reliable back-end depth to Austin Peay
Hayes is a 5-8, 150-pound sophomore defensive back for Austin Peay, and his profile suggests a developmental cover defender with speed-and-quickness value rather than size-based physical dominance. Because public stat detail for his 2025 football impact is limited in the available sources, the main takeaway is roster fit: he adds depth at DB, and his smaller frame hints at a player whose edge comes from agility, range, and willingness to compete in space. That makes him more of a fit for teams valuing position versatility and effort than pure press-man length.
