Creighton C Nick Bowron brings defender-first reliability and real pop
Bowron enters Creighton as a catcher with a reputation for defensive value, having earned NHBCA defensive player of the year and MVP honors in high school; recruiting metrics also show a strong throwing profile and enough bat speed/power to suggest upside at the plate, with a max exit velocity of 105.2 mph and a 6.91-second 60-yard time reported by Prep Baseball Report. His fit is strongest for teams that value toughness, receiving, and dependable work behind the plate, with offensive growth likely the separator. [3][2]
