Undrafted Alabama State Guard with Honors, High-Intensity Playstyle, and Rickey Smiley Legacy
Malik Smiley, a 6-3 guard from Alabama State who graduated with honors in 2025 and went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft, stands out not for flashy stats but for his relentless intensity, academic discipline, and legacy as Rickey Smiley’s son. While his official college stats show 0.0 points (likely due to limited recent game data or roster status), his differentiators include a 4-year scholarship commitment, IMG Academy pedigree (12-4 senior season record), and a reputation for high-pressure decision-making and defensive grit. He has no known injury history, plays with elite focus, and thrives in structured team environments—making him a strong fit for teams valuing reliability, leadership, and off-court professionalism over raw scoring volume.
