6'10" High-IQ Forward with International Fundamentals for IU Indy
Dimitar Pandev, a 6'10" (2m08) senior forward from Strumica, Macedonia, stands out for his elite basketball IQ, versatile fundamentals, and international experience rather than just raw scoring; in the 2021-22 season, he averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game while showcasing the intensity and discipline of a developmental prospect ideal for teams seeking a high-IQ, versatile big man. His differentiators include a rare blend of size (listed as 6-9 to 6-10 across sources) and center/forward versatility, making him a perfect fit for programs needing a smart, adaptable player who can defend multiple positions and execute complex schemes without needing constant instruction, though his low statistical output suggests he thrives in role-player efficiency rather than star-driven volume.
