Portland State TE with Minimal Impact and Faded Production
John Schulte, a Las Vegas native who redshirted in 2018 before transitioning to tight end, posted just 1 reception for 9 yards and 0 TDs in the 2019 season for Portland State, per ESPN stats, with no notable game log or production since—including zero entries in 2018 FOX Sports data—suggesting limited playing time or team impact. High school highlights from Americas (TX) showed defensive promise with 10 sacks and 23 tackles in 2012-13, but his college role emphasizes blocking over receiving. Low-output depth player; not a standout fit for teams seeking dynamic TEs unless prioritizing raw size and scout-team grit.
