Explosive past, limited Iowa production
Massaquoi was a highly productive Evanston prep star and a scholarship back at Iowa, but his Hawkeye impact was modest: in his 2000–01 Iowa career, he totaled 16 carries for 54 yards, 2 catches for 8 yards, and 2 touchdowns. His value was more about burst and red-zone punch than volume, and he briefly climbed the depth chart before his Iowa career ended in 2002. If you want a low-profile, hard-nosed back with proven athletic pedigree, he’s interesting; if you need a feature back, the stat sheet says otherwise.
