Texas State DL J.P. Deeter brings size, toughness, and developmental upside
Deeter is a 6-foot-3, 286-pound defensive lineman whose value is built less on box-score production and more on interior size, strength, and reliability; in 2025 he logged 2 total tackles for Texas State after arriving from Arizona State, where he played in 12 games in 2024. Texas State and EA Sports list him as a stout, physical DT with solid strength, tackle, block-shedding, and play-recognition traits, suggesting a fit for a team that wants a space-eating, assignment-sound lineman who can hold the point and develop into a rotational contributor.[1][2][4][5]
