Brooklyn-Born Edge Rusher Bringing Grit to Rutgers Defense
Andre Civil is a strong-side defensive end from Brooklyn, NY, who committed to Rutgers after starring at Sheepshead Bay High School. The physical, aggressive edge rusher represents a rare gridiron success story from a borough better known for basketball talent. Civil's combination of local toughness, relentless motor, and proven ability to impact the line of scrimmage makes him an intriguing prospect for programs seeking a high-effort, high-intensity defender who plays with something to prove.
