Rising Alabama State Pitcher with 3 Wins and 40 Strikeouts in 2026
Amanda Cintron, the 5'7" right-handed pitcher for Alabama State Hornets, is a data-driven standout in the 2026 season with 3 wins, 40 strikeouts, and an 8.42 ERA across 89 innings, including four complete games and one save. Her differentiator is her intense circle presence and clutch performance—she secured her first career win in a 10-2 victory over Southern Indiana and delivered a save against Bethune-Cookman. Though she faced early runs from Mississippi Valley State, her resilience and ability to handle pressure make her a high-fit pitcher for teams needing reliability and intensity. With a righty/righty profile and strong high school roots from Lake Nona, FL, Cintron brings both skill and grit to the mound.
