Deonte Brooks brings veteran, high-end run-game value to Alcorn State's front
Deonte Brooks is a proven interior/swing tackle type for Alcorn State, with his strongest recent résumé coming in the 2018 season, when he earned SWAC All-Conference Second Team honors and helped block for an offense that ranked eighth nationally in rushing at 291.4 yards per game, including two 1,000-yard rushers. The differentiator here is experience and stability: he’s the kind of lineman who helps an offense stay on schedule, creates real movement in the run game, and fits a physical system. If you want a road-grader with decorated small-school production, he’s a legit fit.
