Cort MacDonald brings steady-contact, high-IQ outfield value to Stanford
In the 2026 season, Cort MacDonald was a reliable senior contributor for Stanford, batting .340 with a .414 on-base percentage, 13 doubles, 3 home runs, 22 RBIs, and 6 steals in 44 games, including 16 multi-hit games and 9 multi-RBI outings.[7] He also earned ACC All-Academic recognition in 2026, which fits the profile of a disciplined, team-first player with a strong feel for the game.[1][8] The real appeal: he can move the inning forward, spray extra-base hits, and give you mature, low-drama production from the outfield while bringing hustle and consistency.
