Veteran Western Illinois LB Brad Blumenshine brings experience and a nose for impact plays
Brad Blumenshine profiles as a seasoned, versatile linebacker with Western Illinois experience and a notable knack for making timely plays — including being listed as one of the team’s veteran defenders and previously showing special-teams value with a punt-return touchdown in 2014. His value is less about flash and more about football IQ, reliability, and edge, which makes him a useful fit for a team that wants a tough, assignment-sound linebacker who can contribute beyond standard box-score stats.
