Davidson DL with Untapped Potential from Limited 2017 Action
Chase Darnell, a political science major and defensive lineman for the Davidson Wildcats, flashed promise in 2017 with three tackles and an 11-yard TFL across three games, including a standout stop in a 42-21 win. High school highlights from Cambridge (GA) Class of 2016 showcase his DE/TE versatility and motor, but limited college snaps suggest he's a developmental gem—raw athleticism, high intensity, and no notable injury history make him a budget-friendly fit for teams needing depth and upside on the D-line. Worth watching if he resurfaces.
