A.J. Hawkins brings veteran size and early-career pedigree to Ole Miss
A.J. Hawkins entered Ole Miss as a highly regarded in-state-state? Actually, the key takeaway is simple: in the 2009 class, he was a 6-3, 315-pound lineman who had already enrolled early, earned first-team Class 5A All-State honors in Georgia, and was rated the No. 22 center in the nation by Scout.com[1]. That combo suggests a player built for trench work—big, seasoned, and ready to compete early—making him appealing for a team that values interior toughness and proven high-school production[1][3].
