Colgate WR with Elite Senior Year Production and D-I Family Pedigree
Joshua Szott, a Colgate Raiders wide receiver from Morristown, NJ, delivered a dominant senior season in 2022 with 41 catches, 1,023 yards, and 17 touchdowns, showcasing elite route-running precision and explosive playmaking ability that far exceeds his earlier 27-rec, 288-yard junior output. His differentiators include a rare intensity level—evidenced by his two pass interceptions as a senior—and a deep football DNA, as his father Dave Szott was a Division I NFL standout and his brother Shane is also a D-I athlete. Szott’s personality blends quiet confidence with relentless work ethic, making him a high-fit WR for teams needing a reliable, high-intensity target who thrives in critical moments. No major injury history reported; his intensity and production suggest immediate roster readiness.
